The room was comfortable and large enough to move around. Car parking was available. Quiet enough to relax
House keeping wasn't special ( didn't top up sugar or tea daily ). Meals were not that good.

The bedroom in the separate block was lovely and it was clean and comfortable and the garden and scenery were lovely.
The main hotel block is very shabby and down an heel. The dinner menu is limited and pricey for what you get as you have to pay extra for vegetables. We had the continental breakfast which was very limited with no fruit or yogurts and only croissants as a choice of bread. Would probably stay again, only in new block, but not eat or stay in the main hotel.

The two female receptionist were very helpful & pleasant
The sheet of plywood supporting the matress, the decor was in apoor state and the repairs were shoddy (mirror screwed to the wardrobe door had the screws completely through the other side). No roll top bath as described, apparently Booked.net description is incorrect, however their own website advertises the same fact. standard facilities were poor, no hairdryer or ironing board in the room. The iron provided was ancient and had no steam. Had to ask for toilet roll and numerous other things that should not occur in a hotel of this description.

The staff were excellent, welcoming and very friendly.
The decor in the main hotel was quite shabby. The meal's in the restaurant were not worth the money. There was not enough in the full english breakfast.
